This body of work emerges from a period of research in Sardinia, where photography, material transformation, and sculpture converge to examine landscape as both archive and living system.

Ceramic, metal, silk, light, and photography

Paired analog and digital images capture identical sites moments apart, yet diverge in tone and texture—making visible the instability of time and perception. Earth collected on site is reconstituted into clay and formed into sardines, referencing both linguistic origin and ecological vulnerability.

Suspended within net-like structures, these forms occupy a space between preservation and capture, presence and disappearance.

The project operates as a meditation on how place is constructed—through memory, material, and the conditions that shape both.
